The primary instructional focus of P10X is enhancing communication skills for all students, but especially for limited language and non-­‐verbal children. The goal of our program is to help students develop the academic, communication and social skills necessary to transition into a less restrictive environment. Communication systems, including the use of Core Vocabulary, are used to support student’s access to the various curriculums and programs used in the school. The impact has been shown to increase speaking, listening and language skills.
