Message from the Principal
Dear P10X Families,
Welcome to the 2024-2025 school year! Our organization is very excited for all the great learning opportunities that will occur this school year. It is our mission and vision to ensure that every P10X student receives rigorous and individualized standards-based instruction to acquire, master and retain skills needed to be as successful and independent as possible.
Our VISION is that every student will learn to be as independent as possible and communicate their wants, needs, and knowledge through a functional individualized communication system that is appropriate for them.
P10X’s MISSION is that all children can learn to the best of their ability by identifying and removing systemic barriers that impede success with active participation from staff, families, and our community. We recognize, value and respect the unique cultural experiences and individuality of all students, families and staff which include race, ethnicity, gender, culture, economic status, native language, religion, and especially disability. We strive to promote student independence, communication, and self-advocacy by learning through culturally responsive teaching that takes into account everyone’s individual experiences. Through school wide policies and practices, we develop clear expectations and advocate for students’ learning by empowering them as agents of change in order to become more empathetic and socially aware global citizens.
The INSTRUCTIONAL FOCUS of P10X is to enhance Communication, Language and Literacy skills for every student, but especially for our non-speaking and children with limited language. The goal of our program is to help students develop the academic, communication, social/emotional, functional and daily living skills necessary to transition into a less restrictive service and/or environment.
Your child’s education, safety and social-emotional well-being is of the utmost importance to us, and we will support you through this journey. Thank you for your trust and your ongoing support as we strive to always do what is best for our children!
Mr. Christopher Reda
Principal
